CRM Corner

Welcome to the CRM Corner.  The Metropolitan New York City Chapter has only about a dozen CRM’s and we want to help grow that number – after all, we are one of ARMA International’s largest chapters!  This “corner” is here to help you proceed along this goal.  We will provide information on how to become a CRM Candidate as well as how to prepare for the examinations.

In this issue, we want to alert you to two new things that the Institute of Certified Records Managers has available for you:  a new 2007 ICRM Handbook (study guide) and an updated bibliography listing.  Both are available on the ICRM’s home page at www.icrm.org.

In future issues, as well as email updates, keep your eyes open for information pertaining to CRM study workshops.  Those are in the planning stages and information will be distributed as it becomes available.  In the meantime, get your copies of the new handbook and bibliography and start preparing for the exams.

The current schedule is:

Exams (exam registration ends November 1, 2007):

Parts 1 through 5 are November 5 – 9, 2007

Part 6 is November 8, 2007

Exams (exam registration starts November 15, 2007 and ends January 31, 2008):

Parts 1 through 5 are February 4 – 8, 2008

Part 6 is February 7, 2008
