Chapter Library
Formerly housed in the vicinity of the World Trade Center, the ARMA Metro New York City Chapter's Lending Library was lost during the tragic events of September 11th, 2001.
It had taken three years to build momentum and resources to re-establish the library. With the support of NYC Chapter members, ARMA International, and other ARMA Chapters, we have successfully re-established this wonderful and invaluable resource.
The new Lending Library has been named in the honor of Clare Marie Ledwith, a long-standing member and supporter of our chapter. Clare is a graduate of Caldwell College, a former Records Manager of Nixon Mudge Rose Guthrie and Alexander, and founding member of the Legal Records Management Guild. Clare has published numerous articles on the topic of Records Management and has shared her copious experience with many members of the industry.
The ARMA Metro NYC Chapter Lending Library is a resource for all members of the Metro NYC Chapter of ARMA in good standing. All Library materials may be borrowed for up to two weeks at a time. After that, the items are to be returned to ARMA Metro NYC Chapter. Members borrowing materials from the Library are responsible for paying for the return mailing costs.
