Speaker: Don Oppenheimber
Don Oppenheimer will trace the evolution of RM from the days of the "hard copy" through today's Collaborative workspace. You will take away a better understanding of the value of Wiki's, Blogs and Web 2.0 technology. There will be a discussion of the benefits of Collaboration. Don will address the notion of Sharepoint being a Records Management solution. Don will also talk about Sharepoint as a portal technology, and the important role of taxonomy. There will also be case studies presented by Vladimer Alfaro and others.
Don Oppenheimer has 30 years of general management, information technology and organizational strategy experience and is currently the Associate Dean and Chief Information Officer at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Prior to Harvard, his background includes strategy and information technology consulting to Fortune 1000 global companies; knowledge management consulting to large law firms; and being the CIO at two leading professional service firms. Don received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
