MICHAEL L. MORRIS is a Vice President for Millican & Associates, Inc., a nationally known Records and Information Management consulting firm. During his twenty-two years with Millican & Associates, he has been involved in a wide variety of records management projects in both the private and public sectors. With thirty years of management and technical experience in integrating information and records management programs with corporate strategy, and re-engineering and implementing information systems, Mr. Morris has a unique combination of expertise with state-of-the-art information management technology and experience with implementing effective records and information management programs. He has been actively involved in Federal records management projects at the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy, Interior, State, and Treasury; Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Archives and Records Administration and with private sector including financial companies including Adobe Systems, American Express, Bank of America, and Citicorp.
Mr. Morris is a member of ARMA International and the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA). He also is a registered Professional Engineer. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a Master’s of Science degree, and of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.
Mr. Morris has developed and conducted national training courses for several Fortune 500 companies and a seminar series on information and records management systems in four major cities across the country. He has presented at seminars and conferences for the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), the Canadian Information and Image Management Society, the Institute of Gas Technology, ARMA International, the Institute of Records Management, the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association, the State of Tennessee State-Wide Records Management Symposiums, and the American Society for Quality. Additionally he has been published in Inform, Office Systems, and Nuclear Plant Journal.
